Another superb Open Night at St. Colmcille’s High School
We held another successful Open Night Thursday 2nd February 2012 for P6 and P7 pupils and their Parents/Guardians.
Visitors had an opportunity to visit all departments and joined in on many interactive activities throughout the school. The school’s Peer Mentors and Senior Prefects acted as guides on this occasion.
Six Year 8 pupils joined the Principal Mrs Marian McGreevy and Head of Year 8 Miss Geraldine Magee on the stage to share their experiences of the school.
The Open Night was also an opportunity for pupils, parents and visitors to hear about the new building development. The Department of Education announced yesterday that the plans for a new state of the art Home Economics suite has just been approved with building work to begin shortly.
